[Professor Bohm-Jung Yang as in advisor] Awardee for Excellence of the 11th S-OIL Best Dissertation Award
Dr. Jun-Young Ahn (advisor, Professor Bohm-Jung Yang) received the 11th S-OIL Best Dissertation Award for Excellence.
The S-OIL Best Dissertation Award is sponsored by the S-Oil Science and Culture Foundation and organized by the Korean Academy of Science and Technology and the Korean University Association of the President to select excellent thesis among doctoral thesis in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, chemical engineering and material engineering and awarding the researchers and their advisors.
Dr. Junyoung Ahn participated as a student researcher from IBS CCES and is currently working as a researcher at Harvard University, was awarded this award in recognition of his achievements in establishing a general theory on the topological properties of real wavefunctions in systems with space-time inversion symmetry.
The awards ceremony was held on December 2, 2021 (Thursday) in the main auditorium of S-OIL headquarters in Mapo-gu.
