|Title||The progress of electron spin related research in SIMIT|
All the physical and chemical characters in matter are determined by electronic states. Along with the development of science and technology, the design and control of quantum properties of matter by its electronic states become possible. To adjust the properties and to study their mechanism, the accurate measurements of electronic states in matter is fatal. Our group developed an image type spin polarimeter based on exchange interactions and can achieve 6786 channel parallel spin-resolved photoelectron measurements with an efficiency 540 thousands times higher than commercial one. This technology will change the current status of spin-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy thoroughly and take important impact on the frontier of condensed matter physics.
To study the mechanism of ferromagnetic order in Cr-doped (Sb, Bi)2Te3, the XAFS and XMCD measurements was performed and the results will be discussed,.
